LSUDad Posted December 15, 2023 Share Posted December 15, 2023 LSU's national champion baseball, women's basketball programs receive perfect Graduation Success Rate scores Tyler Nettuno follow December 14, 2023 11:59 am CT LSU delivered two national championship programs in the 2022-23 academic year, but it was also a championship-caliber athletics department in the classroom. The NCAA released its Graduation Success Rate reports, and LSU received an overall grade of 91%, a slight decrease from last season’s 92% score. Still, the Tigers saw 12 teams receive a perfect score of 100, and that list included the national champion baseball and women’s basketball programs. LSU’s gymnastics team, which reached the Final Four last season, also received a perfect score from the NCAA. “We are extremely proud of our student-athletes who continue to excel in the classroom, in competition and in the LSU community,” Walt Holliday, Executive Director of the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes said in a release. “Our continued success is based on the collective efforts of many.” LSU is one of just four SEC schools to receive an 89% score or higher in each of the last seven years, joining Vanderbilt, Alabama and South Carolina.
