LSU faces a fantastic, talented, and physical Michigan St. Spartan team tonight, and that's not even mentioning how well coached they are under legendary coach Tom Izzo. Meanwhile, LSU is also fantastic, talented, and physical...and we're coached by interim Tony Benford while LSU HC Will Wade remains in limbo pending...whatever it is he's pending. I wish Wade were allowed to do his job tonight as the Tigers face the 2 seed Spartans, but we dance with who brung us, and for now that's Benford. GEAUX!!!! They are coached by a phenomenal coach in Izzo and shot WAY good from outside tonight. This was the difference. Herb Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 We needed Wade on the sidelines the deeper we got into the tourney. My fear is that Alleva will hit the panic button during the post tourney coaching shuffle and - seeing other coaches getting hired - he'll fire Wade outright, Wade will utlimately get exonerated, Alleva will hire an inferior coach, Wade will take another program to perenial NCAA appearances, and LSU won't sniff the sweet 16 for a decade or more.
