Herb
And I'm not making this up...one of the top targets to replace Mike Leach at 'Wazzu' is the shark humper himself (maybe because he found the shark's wazzu irresistable).
LSUDad
Former LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada hired by Pittsburgh Steelers Michael Wayne Bratton | 2 hours ago Matt Canada has finally landed on his feet. The former Maryland interim coach and LSU offensive coordinator sat out the 2019 season after Mike Locksley was hired at Maryland over Canada. Now the former coordinator is back, but this time, it’s the NFL that offered Canada a position, not a college program. 00:05 04:39 00:24 The Pittsburgh Steelers have named Canada the team’s new quarterbacks coach. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, NFL teams have been reaching out to Canada during his time out of coaching to discuss his offense. “Several NFL Clubs have consulted Canada over the past year or so, including this season, about incorporating his offensive concepts. Pittsburgh decides to just hire the former LSU and Maryland OC,” Rapoport tweeted out following Canada’s hiring in Pittsburgh. Presumably, the Steelers are among the teams that did so and must have come away impressed with what Canada had to say during their discussions. Now we’ll see if the Steelers are the next NFL team to incorporate some college spread techniques in 2020.
