NS Mom Posted September 22, 2018 Share Posted September 22, 2018 A friend of mine opened up a restaurant in Mandeville called “Sweet Idea” It started as Rolled Icecream and Boba Tea’s and smoothies and has evolved. Her mom immigrated from Vietnam and her cooking talents are being shared with our community. Along with the sweets, they serve Asian Fusion Cuisine. They make the most amazing foods. My favorite soup is the Bo Ko, it’s a beef comfort stew with Vietnamese spices. (I have dreams about it). Delicious spring rolls with orchids. Those orchid egg rolls are too pretty to eat! thrres a viet restaurant right around the corner from where we are staying in Houston this week .... may have to splurge one evening and get some take out.
