LSUDad Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 From Mike Detiller: So sad to write this on the passing of Mr. Bobby Hebert, Sr. He was a really good man in life..and he was one of faces we all knew in our area of the world. If you knew him you figured out quickly where Bobby J got his gift for talking. Loved his family, ..Paula, children, grandchildren and great-children .. And many many friends. He did so much for so many. Always that big smile and every Tuesday before Bobby J and I would do Sports on the Bayou.. he was waiting to talk to me.. Loved South Lafourche and LSU ...and he was so thrilled to see BeBe and the Tigers win a National Championship . “ I cried like a baby”, he told me laughing after LSU beat Clemson. He will be missed greatly .. Before we left the HTV Studios weekly he would always give me a big hug and tell me “ Take Care of my boy now.” And I would tell him “ Mr Bobby, I’ll do the best I can.” And we would both laugh. Rest In Peace Mr Bobby and prayers for Ms Paula, Bobby J and the Hebert family.. Quote
