Transfer Portal 2022-2023

As for now, a total of 10 LSU players have entered the portal. Fla and aTm both are North of 20 players. Kelly knows where he wants to be. A number of positions will see help with the portal. I see the signing day getting players, then portal will come into play. Will we get to the 85 limit?

my count is 10.

guessing you’re not counting Toles in this year’s transfer group?

A look at a class, that you got very little out of. This class got a top 5 ranking. Thought some would like to revisit. Nice star rankings, but so much failure.

that's the entire list of guys who stayed and contributed
2 of those were transfers that have now already graduated, so you're left with a total of 5 contributors from a class that should be your juniors and the foundation of your roster.

Texas A&M freshman defender, former 4-star recruit reportedly enters transfer portal

Crissy Froyd | 5 hours ago

Texas A&M true freshman cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew has entered the transfer portal, according to a report from Tom VanHaaren of ESPN and 247Sports.

Groves-Killebrew, a former 4-star recruit, was the No. 121-ranked prospect in the 2022 class. With his departure, Jimbo Fisher’s team has now had 12 players from the 2021 and 2022 recruiting classes enter the transfer portal.

27 players have entered since October. Given the way that things have shaken out after the Aggies were expected to be one of the most dominant teams in college football ahead of the season, it is not necessarily surprising to see a mass exodus of this type.

The only trio of scholarship cornerbacks the team now has remaining are sophomore Tyreek Chappell, sophomore Deuce Harmon and freshman Bobby Taylor. The 2023 recruiting class holds more potential at the position, though, and this is a position the Aggies are expected to be addressing in the transfer portal as well.

LSU adds Arizona transfer Paris Shand to early signing period eve defensive line haul

  • by Glen West

In just a few hours, LSU will be able to sign most of its highly rated 2023 freshman class that currently ranks No. 3 in the country.

But the Tigers and specifically defensive line coach Jamar Cain made a big early signing period eve splash with the addition of Arizona defensive line transfer Paris Shand. Shand joins Florida transfer Jalen Lee and Oregon transfer Bradyn Swinson in a flurry of defensive line movement for the purple and gold to kick off this week's recruiting news.

LSU is getting a head start on improving a number of positions via the portal as the trio of additions give the Tigers four total via the portal. Alabama transfer Aaron Anderson committed to the program in the last week as well. At 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, Shand is more of you prototypical defensive lineman, having appeared in 23 games over the last three years at Arizona, totaling 41 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles.

A bigger, physical defensive end, Shand could help LSU on the outside of the defensive line pick up some of the slack left behind by Ali Gaye. Swinson also figures to compete there as well.
