My feeling is that Nuss loves LSU and is all in. This isn't a stepping stone for him, but I think he appreciates and honors the stage that he now stands on.
His game has some limitations that need offensive scheme crafting and construction to downplay in his overall effectiveness. And maybe he needs to put some training time in to make his mobility more nimble?
At any rate, he does have NFL bonafides and we have the players to capitalize on that and allow him to shine providing we gameplan to accentuate what he brings to the table.
I think Sloane will become OC and will likely do all of that. I hope we don't lose Hankton if Sloane becomes OC (or vice versa). I don't see us having "Co-Offensive Coordinators.
Lastly, it's a great day to be an LSU fan...the Tigers have had back to back 10 win seasons on the heels of Kelly inheriting a team w/ 35 scholarship players and we've had one of the most impressive recruiting hauls in recent memory (and we might not be finished there).
In addition, Alabama, Texas, and Georgia won't be able to hit the recruiting or portal trail claiming a championship.
The sun is shining...relish in its warmth!
