As I understand the rule (and please do not take my word for it) is that players on a team where a coach is fired have a 30 day window to enter the portal and talk to other schools. So I assume that 30 day window started ticking when Jimbo was fired. Now that their season is over, we might see some movement there. They can enter but that doesn't mean they can't stay at A&M.

Not going to happen. The house of cards premise that the A&M booster was spewing is that Michigan will fire Harbaugh (which would lead to Kelly becoming interested because there is food more to his liking up there?) Michigan is happy with Harbaugh even with the cheating scandal... he isn't getting fired and isn't going to bolt for the NFL. But even if all of that falls into play and Michigan makes Kelly an offer, Woodward will show his poker face and let likely Kelly walk rather than put LSU in a position with Kelly that A&M did with Jimbo.

Ironic that anytime there is an opening or potential opening at Big Blue, an LSU coach immediately becomes the top candidate.

We're in the mix for the #1 QB in the nation in next year's recruiting class. I am pretty sure he is paying attention. The defense has nowhere to go but up. I'll be disappointed to the core if no staffing changes are made on that side of the ball.

So, this morning I had to drive into my office in Baltimore (which is rare for a Friday, I usually WFH on Fridays) and I'm passing a hotel and who is walking on the sidewalk in front of it but none other than Andrew Whitworth! (He was in Baltimore covering the Bengals vs Ravens game last night.) Rolled down my window and yelled "Go Tigers!". Got a look, smile, and half nod in return (which I took as a "yeah, you right!").

What it was like getting drilled in the shower?

We know JD broke the record for the longest rushing TD in LSU history with his 85 yd scamper against Florida. He followed that up with a 50+ yarder later in the game. Where does that 2nd TD rank in "longet rushing TDs by an LSU QB"? I suspect it might also be in the top 5?

I hope the press takes into account that Jayden's stats are from almost one full game less than the other contenders. Daniels only played one half against Army and was in concussion protocol for close to a full quarter against Alabama.

My guess is Gary Patterson (former TCU HC). Hopefully not Jim Leonard, who I hope LSU hires as it's defensive coordinator when Matt House accepts a new opportunity elsewhere.

I believe when a coach is fired, players can transfer outside of the 2 portal transfer periods. Hopefully we hit that hard, getting some players now for next year.
